About Us Become a YAWAC Artist

Young Audiences brings fresh, exciting and diverse cultural experiences to children throughout Georgia. We work exclusively with professional artists who are able to communicate their artistry and passion effectively through assembly performances, classroom workshops and extended residencies. Many of our artists perform with other local arts organizations, tour regionally and nationally and teach at area colleges and universities. All are deeply committed to our mission of improving and enriching the lives and education of children through the arts.

A successful Young Audiences artist displays:

• A high level of artistry, technical mastery and deep knowledge of their art form;
• Enthusiasm and genuine interest in educating young people;
• Respect for educators and the challenges they face;
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
• Continued interest and participation in professional artistic growth.
