Young Audiences brings the arts to life for children in a way that nothing else can! Our artists inspire and motivate school children by sharing their knowledge, artistry and passion through dynamic programs spanning a wide variety of art forms and cultural traditions. For many young people, a Young Audiences performance is their very first—and often a life-changing—encounter with the arts. Each program’s combination of authentic arts experiences, curriculum content and participatory activities provides multiple handles for every child to grasp—regardless of personal learning style. Classroom workshops and residencies provide opportunities for active, multi-layered learning in and through the arts. Whether designing a sculpture, writing a play or composing a musical score—students are discovering outlets for personal expression, acquiring critical thinking and problem-solving skills and developing the self-discipline, patience and perseverance necessary for success in school and in life There really is an art to learning. Bring Young Audiences into your school today and see the arts work magic with your students!
