NEW PROGRAM APPLICATION FOR CURRENT ARTISTS


As a valued member of the Young Audiences family, we invite you to submit new program proposals for consideration by the staff and Program Committee. At this time, we are only soliciting proposals or assembly performance programs. Please follow the steps below to download all the necessary application materials. You will need Adobe Reader to access and complete the documents, which you can download HERE.


STEP 1: REVIEW THE SEMINAR INFORMATION

Young Audiences is committed to working collaboratively with artists to develop high quality/high impact assembly performance programs. Through ongoing professional learning opportunities, we seek to empower artists with the knowledge, tools and support they need to design exciting, engaging and effective assembly programs. We are happy to announce the second presentation of our “Performing for Understanding” seminar which we successfully piloted in January and February. The seminar not only provides a framework for designing effective programs, it offers a unique opportunity for artists from varied disciplines to brainstorm, share ideas and gain inspiration from peers. 

*While the seminar is not mandatory for those interesting in creating Young Audiences program, we strongly encourage artists to consider participating in the seminar alongside program development.*

STEP 3: REVIEW STANDARDS OF QUALITY

This document outlines the criteria that Young Audiences' assembly programs are reviewed by.  This can help give you a better idea of what we are looking for.


STEP 4: FILL OUT AND SUBMIT THE CURRENT ARTIST APPLICATION
 
Once you're ready to apply to submit your new program proposal, follow the instructions for completing the application.
