When the Woodruff Arts Center - then known as the Arts Alliance - opened in 1968, Atlanta was an aspiring business town with little or no claim to excellence in the arts. Thanks in large part to the Woodruff Arts Center, that has changed dramatically. This is an exciting and challenging time for the Woodruff Arts Center. We have strong leadership in all divisions - the Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, High Museum of Art and our newest addition, Young Audiences of Atlanta. The Arts Center is undergoing significant growth, as we continue with a stunning campus expansion.
When you make a gift to the Woodruff Arts Center's Annual Corporate Campaign, you are supporting our divisions. This year's record campaign goal is $8.5 million, representing approximately 10% of the operating budget for the entire Center.
We're grateful for the many corporations, foundations and individuals like that support the Center and who recognize the importance of the arts. Thank you for your continuing interest in the Woodruff Arts Center.
