This program includes electrifying performances in classical ballet, structured improvisation, jazz, and contemporary dance. The breathtaking display of dance and Emily’s innovative choreography inspires students as they learn about the ideas and experiences that influence the creation of dance in all its many forms. Students become choreographers as the cast guides them to use their powers of observation to notice how everyday movements, experiences, and poetry inspire expression in music and dance.
Intended Outcome: Students use their powers of observation and creative choices to connect language arts to music and dance.
