Michael White brings his master illustrator skills to the classroom as he shows students how to sketch a simple subject using line, light, and shadow and, with input from the students, how a story can be created based on the illustrations. His day-long school visits can include lunch with students or special sessions to work on illustrations for writing or research projects. As an added bonus, he leaves his completed drawings behind for schools to display or auction to raise funds.
